AGC of Utah Scholarship

The AGC of Utah offers a yearly scholarship opportunity for those pursuing their degree(s) in construction or a construction-related program.
In the hopes to develop the skills of the future workforce, the AGC of Utah awarded $15,000 worth of scholarship money to 24 students in our state. These scholarships are awarded each January with the application due Wednesday, November 15, 2024

Deadline: June 1, 2023
The AGC Education and Research Foundation is offering a Workforce Development Scholarship to students enrolled in accredited technical schools or craft training programs in any discipline of commercial construction. Students in technical or approved craft training programs will until June 1st to apply for $1,000 scholarships (renewal for up to two years).

The AGC Education and Research Foundation is committed to taking steps to ensure students have the technical skills needed to immediately enter in tot he commercial construction workforce. Deadline: November 1st of Each Calendar Year
The scholarships for undergraduates are $2,500 per year ($1,250 if you have half a semester) and can be renewed for up to three years. The applications open on July 1st of each calendar year and must be submitted by midnight on November 1st of the same year. If applicants are selected as a finalist, an interview process will take place with a contractor in the area. Following the interview, scholarship recipients will be selected and announced in March of the following calendar year. (Application submitted on November 1, 2023 - Scholarship awarded for fall 2024).
Please remember:
1) You must meet the criteria to apply as an undergraduate.
2) Make sure that your recommenders (one teacher and one employer) know that you are requesting their recommendation.

The applications open on July 1st of each calendar year and must be submitted by midnight on November 1st of the same year.
